Alabama cook-offs

Alabama BBQ runs March through October, anchored by KCBS-sanctioned contests across the state and the regional tradition of white-sauce chicken — a distinctly Alabama style centered around Decatur, where Big Bob Gibson's BBQ originated the sauce in the 1920s.
