Michigan cook-offs

Michigan's KCBS-sanctioned BBQ calendar runs May through October at outdoor venues and county fairs across both peninsulas. The lower peninsula concentrates the larger contests around Detroit and Grand Rapids; the upper peninsula has a smaller but loyal scene through the short summer.
