Florida cook-offs

Florida runs cook-offs nearly year-round thanks to climate, with the Florida BBQ Association (FBA) sanctioning much of the regional calendar alongside KCBS events. The peninsula geography spreads contests from the panhandle to the Keys; winter is high season for traveling competitors heading south to escape the cold elsewhere.
